The reason for the season is only a few sleeps away. The World Cups in Canmore are about to begin and I can tell you, if you池e not here, try to get here; this is going to be amazing. Skiing around the course the other day, I tried to take in the experience as one might as an athlete who just arrived from another country. The sun was shining, the trails groomed to perfection, mountain views surrounded me and there was an energy buzzing through the entire town of Canmore.

In my last update, the team was taking off to Duntroon, ON to try out for the National Group spots. I知 very happy to report that all INDi2010 athletes qualified and will be racing in every event at the World Cups. This is an amazing achievement for INDi because the qualification standards were at a very high level so we池e very pleased to have our entire team competing. The last two weeks have been a final preparation period for the World Cup races. The INDi2010 team is excited to race and excited to represent Canada in the National Group at these World Cups.

For skiing fans this week will bring much excitement as ski racing is very unpredictable. The Canadians are looking fit and I think we値l have some outstanding results in all disciplines.
