Members of the INDi2010 Racing Team have all caught up with varying amounts of snow and have made what will hopefully be a permanent transition from roller skis to snow. Skeets arrived in Silver Star on the 8th after the long drive from Thunder Bay, and he'll base himself there for the bulk of the winter. Karla is visiting Skeets' new home base for a couple of weeks before the first races in Canmore on November 22nd, but she chose the slightly more direct route of flying west!

The Canmore residents, Dan, Tasha, Gord and Rhonda have found a small 6 minute loop of good snow near home at the Canmore Nordic Center, and have good skiing conditions in Lake Louise a 50 minute drive west for longer workouts.

With the NorAm series starting up in Canmore in less than two weeks, everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that sustained cold temperatures finally make their way to Canmore so that a proper racing loop can be prepared in time!
