The whole team has been looking very sharp during training this spring, but newcomer Dan Roycroft in particular has been making waves. Based on finishing second in a mountain running race in May Dan qualified for the Canadian Team at the North American Mountain Running Championships, which is being held in Canmore of all the exotic options. If Dan has a good race at the North American Champs he will qualify for the World Mountain Running Championships in Switzerland.

Dan will be back in the news on Canada Day, again featured on a Seven Wonders of Canada program on the CBC news. If possible we'll post it here as soon as we can.

Most of the team will be together beginning on July 2nd for a dryland training camp in Kananaskis Country, just southwest of Calgary. Karla is an unfortunate last minute scratch from the camp after coming down with an ear infection over the last few days, but she'll be back to her usual rigorous training routine soon.
