Gord, a team co-founder and member of the INDi2010 Racing Team for all 3 seasons now races with the Alberta World Cup Academy. Gord underwent the second lower back surgery of his career in June to repair a ruptured disc, and will now attempt to repeat the tough road back to the international level.

Gord grew up in downtown Toronto, but spent most of his youth enjoying the areas north of the city on a family farm and frequent canoe trips in northern Ontario and Quebec. He has represented Canada at 2 World Championships and won the sprint at the 2003 Canadian Championships.
